1. Kickoff Call + File Access
We start with a quick onboarding session to learn about your business, your goals, and how you’re currently tracking your finances. Then we’ll request access to your QuickBooks file or get you set up if you’re starting fresh.
2. Initial Clean-Up or Setup
If your books are behind, we’ll catch them up. If they’re messy, we’ll clean them up. If you’re brand new, we’ll build your system right from the start — chart of accounts, workflows, and all.
3. Ongoing Bookkeeping
Each month or quarter, we’ll categorize transactions, reconcile your accounts, and deliver easy-to-read reports. You’ll know exactly where things stand — and we’re always available to explain what it means.
4. Quarterly & Year-End Reviews
Before each tax season, we’ll review your books together to make sure everything’s accurate, up to date, and ready for filing. If we’re also preparing your taxes, this step makes everything seamless.
5. Personalized QuickBooks Training

Yes. Whether your file is in good shape or a bit of a mess, we can step in. We’ll review it for accuracy, clean up anything that’s off, and bring it up to date. If needed, we’ll rebuild your setup so it actually works for you — not against you.
I’ve never used bookkeeping software. Can you teach me?
Absolutely. We offer personalized training sessions to help you or your team get comfortable with QuickBooks, Peachtree, or your preferred system. These sessions are tailored to your skill level and workflow, so you’ll walk away confident — not confused.
How far back can you help me clean up my books?
We’ve helped clients catch up on six months, a year, even multiple years of overdue or disorganized books. The sooner we start, the easier it is to get things cleaned up and back on track.
Do I really need monthly bookkeeping, or can I do it quarterly?
It depends on your volume and how often you need financial clarity. Monthly is ideal for businesses with lots of transactions or who want to stay ahead of tax time. Quarterly works for simpler operations or seasonal businesses. We’ll recommend the right cadence based on what you actually need.
What if I want to do some of it myself and outsource the rest?
That’s fine — and actually pretty common. We’re happy to take the lead or work alongside you. Whether you just want monthly reconciliation or a full-service partner, we’ll customize the scope to fit.
Do I still need a tax preparer if you do my books?
Yes — but if we’re also doing your taxes, it’s a seamless handoff. And if someone else is handling your return, having clean, categorized books makes their job easier (and often cheaper).
